Eildon's Hideaway House Bed and Breakfast in situated overlooking Bolte Bay, approximately 11 kilometers from the historic township of Eildon. From the house you can view a panorama across the lake, towards the Frazer National Park, or take a short walk down the hill to the B&B's own waterfront access.
You will have many opportunities to view the flora and fauna of the area. The abundant native wildlife such as Kangaroos, Koala's, Kookaburra's and other native birds are regular visitors.
Lake Eildon itself is one of Victoria's largest inland lakes, with over 500 kilometers of shoreline, sheltered bays and safe swimming areas. Here you can participate in exhilarating water sports such as water-skiing, kayaking and wake boarding, as well as the more leisurely pastimes of swimming, fishing and house boating, and as Lake Eildon National Park surrounds much of the lake's shoreline the area is very popular with bush walkers.
Go 4 wheel driving, mountain biking, horse riding or hiking in the nearby forests and mountains and view the magnificent countryside in this wonderful area. The rushing fresh water rivers offer the thrill of canoeing and white water rafting, as well as some of the state's best trout fishing.
